The Mur is an Austrian river that rises in the Hohe Tauern (Ankogel Group).
The Mur flows eastwards through Styria and its provincial capital and VEP Graz.

In southern Styria the Mur is the border to Slovenia, then the border between Slovenia and Croatia and later between Croatia and Hungary.

At kilometre 453 the Mur flows into the Drava at Legrad.
