Cycling in Belgium

Belgium is a cycling friendly country that has produced many famous and successful cyclists - Belgium - A small country - a great cycling nation.

Belgium has a very well developed bike path system from Flanders to Wallonia. Along rivers and canals through historic cities.
Although Belgium hardly advertises official river bike paths, we can cycle along the rivers in a tight fietsknoten system.
There are dozens of bike paths to ride from town to town.

Velo Europe specifically selects routes along the rivers and canals, or along the North Sea coast from Brussel/ Antwerp to Holland/ Germany and France.
