Luggage
An essential point for a successful tour is good and dry weather, but we cannot guarantee this. What we do think is important, however, is that we have the right clothes in our panniers for every type of weather we encounter on our route.
This is not always easy, especially on longer routes through different climates and temperature zones, so together with our partners from xyz Transportservices we also offer a standardised luggage forwarding and home delivery service.

Transport
We have good weather and the right clothes and still the day doesn't work out as we imagined. Too strong headwind, still tired from the day before or a much too long break in a beautiful place. Nevertheless, we want to reach our stage destination and booked accommodation.
A clean, cheap option is the railway. Most local trains also take bikes outside rush hours. Here you can find all stations - to the respective timetables via the national railway page ( create European list ).
In the Velo App you can see the nearest station to your stage on demand.
In towns and villages where there is no railway line, we have to rely on buses that do not have to take bikes, but in some cases they do.
Here we can alternatively contact taxi and transport companies in the respective communities. Under the heading Taxi you will find the taxi companies that will take you over a pass or where there is no railway line.
In the future, Velo Europe would also like to work more with transport companies that bring cycling groups to their destination instead of bus and train.
